Today, I wanted to walk through how I built my Bridesmaid Proposal Boxes. After perusing Etsy and seeing the cost of pre-made boxes, I decided that I could easily put together some cute & thoughtful boxes on my own. I started putting them together in August and gave all of my girls their boxes throughout September. All of my bridesmaids now have their proposal boxes & they all said YES.
I ended up saving over $200 so today I am going to share exactly what I did and all of the items that I included in the boxes.
What I Bought
- Black Gift Boxes
- Vinyl Name Decals – these were great, came really quickly, and were super easy to put on each box.
- Scrunchies
- Scrunchie Tags
- Proposal Cards from Shutterfly – I designed proposal cards on PhotoScape X and then order them from Shutterfly to be printed on cardstock.
- Gold + White Crinkle Cut Shredded Paper
- Artificial Roses – really this was just for decoration. I put 1 in each box
- Simple Modern Tumblers – this was my main splurge item. There were a lot of less expensive options on Amazon, but I have one of these tumblers and love it and really wanted to give each of my girls one. Each tumbler came with 2 tops and 2 straws.
- Gold Knot Bracelets with Initial
