Its APRIL! This year feels like it’s flying by. I am so ready for springtime and sunshine and blooming flowers. Let’s get into all this magic from March 😊
Everyday magic is a monthly list of things that have been bringing me joy during the month. The list will be an eclectic combination of the exciting and the ordinary, the obviously newsworthy and the mundane. It will contain anything from events to books to products.
Dress shopping for my mom & grandma. On the 19th my sisters, mom, grandma, and I all headed out early in the morning to find a Mother of the Bride & Grandmother of the Bride dress for my mom and grandma. Years ago, when my sister and I were dress shopping for proms my mom would make us try on some of the most outrageous dresses so years later my sister and I had fun finally returning the favor. We all cracked up the whole time as they came out modeling some of the most frilly, glittery, & poofy dresses we could find. Their search for dresses continued on passed this day, but we had such a good time and they both got a better idea of what style and color of dresses they wanted.
Spent a weekend in Raleigh. Andrew and I had a wedding to attend on the 27th so we made a weekend out of it and spent Saturday & Sunday exploring Raleigh. We went to Brewery Bhavana for dinner on Saturday and oh my gosh. It was so stunning inside and probably some of the best dim sum I’ve ever had.
Our beautiful friends got married. We attended a sweet and gorgeous wedding and got to witness 2 of our favorite people get married. We had an absolute blast celebrating them and their love for each other. 🤍
A happy hour. My sister recently started a new job working with one of my best friends. The company is such an amazing fit for both of them and I’m so happy they have both found a job they finally enjoy. To celebrate, I met them out for drinks after work one day and I got a grand tour of their office. We went to a new rooftop bar in Charlotte called Aura Rooftop. Its small plates so I wouldn’t recommend this be your dinner spot for the night, but the views were amazing and the drinks were innovative and tasty.
