Hi friends!! Today I am going to be sharing some simple tips to help you style any bookshelf confidently!
I love to style shelves. It is one of the most satisfying things to decorate for me. By following a few easy steps, you can turn a seemingly complex decorating project into a quick and enjoyable one.

I have played around a lot with this formula and I find that these 4 steps ensure a well-styled set of shelves every time.
How to Style Shelves :
- Start with your neutral base items.
- Larger neutral items such as a large vase, stacks of books, etc.
- Add high contrast/statement pieces.
- Deep-colored items, a table clock, a black riser, etc.
- Place items of the same color diagonally from each other.
- This will draw the eye down the shelves in a zig-zag and helps to create visual interest.
- Fill in empty spaces with simple items.
- Don’t overthink this step – Some baskets, blankets, candles, etc. are all you will need.

Love always,
