I am a notorious online shopper. Last year, when I first started working full time, I had an Amazon package arrive at my door everyday for 2 weeks straight…don’t judge me.
Some of my most tried and true beauty products arrive to me via Amazon, so today I thought I’d share them with you. I don’t think people often think of Amazon for skincare products, but you should and here’s 6 reasons why.
Grande Cosmetics Lash Enhancing Serum
This product is my best kept secret. I started using this gem a year ago and it quickly became a new ride or die. Its $65 which is pretty reasonably priced compared to other lash serums on the market and this baby worrrrkssss. Trust me. I apply it to my upper lash line before bed and occasionally in the morning if I’m not wearing mascara (which I can totally do now that I’ve been using this stuff because my lashes are pretty long and thick all on their own). It took me a solid month of consistent use to notice a real difference, but my lashes have never been longer and I’m loving it.
Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery 50 g Sunscreen SPF 50 + / PA ++++ (1 Count)
If you’ve read any of my other skin care blogs you will know I’m big on sunscreen. Last year when I traveled to Japan, I found this sunscreen and its unlike any sunscreen I’ve ever used. Its a light, gel consistency and has a very pleasant citrus scent. It doesn’t leave a white cast or feel heavy on the skin. Its weightless, applies beautifully under makeup, has hyaluronic acid, is water and sweat resistant and protects from UVA and UVB. Its great in the summer, but I use it daily year round.

I heard about this product on an episode of the That’s So Retrograde podcast and I have been using it religiously ever since. After my Accutane treatment, my lips never fully recovered. They are now extremely prone to becoming chapped. Before I found this stuff, they would get so bad that they would peel and split uncontrollably regardless of the various products I was slathering on for relief. This tacky formula smells like an orange creamsicle and instantly hydrates dry, chapped lips. It also has a plumping effect so my lips stay looking plump and who doesn’t love that? I have about 6 of these floating around between my desk, my car, my purse and my gym bag. I cannot go a day without it. Before winter comes, do yourself a favor and order this lip balm. At $20 it is a bit of a splurge, but I promise you it is worth it. Invest in yo lips girl.
The Ordinary Peeling Solution 30ml AHA 30% + BHA 2%
If you haven’t heard of The Ordinary you are seriously missing out. The brand is science-focused and keeps its ingredients simple and effective. I ordered their Peeling Solution a few months ago to add a high percentage chemical exfoliant into my routine. I use it once every 1-2 weeks depending on how my skin is feeling. Its a quick way to rejuvenate the skin and exfoliate dead skin cells.
The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 30ml
Another product from The Ordinary that has absolutely changed my skin care game. Hyaluronic acid is a great ingredient to include in skin care because it draws moisture into the skin. It can actually hold up to 1000x its weight in water. Unfortunately, it is really difficult to find products on the market that actually have a significant amount of Hyaluronic acid in them. So its nice to see the exact percentage right there on the bottle. I use this as a serum on days my skin needs a little extra uhmf.
This is the other skin care product that I discovered while in Japan. This gel cream is light and super hydrating. Since its a humectant (can hold water and bring moisture into the skin), it is really important for you to apply a moisturizer of some sort after it to seal in the water and hydration. Its great to use in the summer under a lighter moisturizer because it keeps you hydrated, but isn’t greasy. Its also amazing in the winter to help save your skin from becoming dry during the cold winter months.
